Rescue training, dog behavior analysis.

While attending Western New England College, Springfield, Massachusetts, Jason Wilson adopted his
first rescue an all American Mutt named Cain. Wanting a companion for his dog he went to a local
breeder to see if he had any adult dogs that might need a home.
While at this breeders’ home, a ten-week-old American Pit Bull puppy was returned to the breeder.
It seems the owner had just been busted for drug dealing and would not be around to feed the puppy
for a long, long time.

Jason was looking for an older dog to play with Cain, but the breeder had none available at that time.
Jason went home to call on other rescue groups but he couldn’t forget that little pup. Despite the
stories and bad media that Pit Bulls receive Jason knew he had to go back and take this little pup
with the bad start in life home. He named him Gator and the little pup would grow while Jason finished
college and entered the working world. He would remain at his side, never disappointing, always loyal,
until his death. Jason (we call him Jay) remembers his first Christmas request was for a puppy.
He never got that puppy for Christmas but he thinks Gator was worth the long wait.

Jay’s devotion to the welfare of dogs and all pet animals makes him a perfect fit for P.A.L. his first
concern is and always will be the welfare of the pets we serve. As our Business Manager we think he
has all the qualifications to “Work us out of business!
